A midst the hardships of earning money now a days combined with the extreme difficulty of giving up your time for others, the Klement backpackers still pursue their passion of service to their fellow children of God , and for that cause they felt very rewarded. For the reason that the combination of backpacking and ministry activity is a brilliant thing. The participants can enjoy and learn more from the low-cost travel style and aside from that they have this goal to share God's love to others along the way.

You may commonly see on Facebook a lot of Klement Backpacking and Ministry (KBM) images that show enjoyment , jolliness, bullying, and laughter, however, these don't mean that they had took for granted the Ministry part of the KBM activity. In fact they'd sacrificed so much and I'm sure they're still willing to do more for the work of God.
Money and time were spent. Hunger and extreme exhaustion were experienced.
But still they were focused on their goal combined with smiling, laughing, and of course posing in front of the camera.
One more strong reason that pushed these dedicated participants to proceed in this travel was their extreme craving to feel the warm fellowship of being in a gathered Klement family.

How wonderful was that feeling, when they met at the airport , rode the train, gave food and slippers to children, distributed free books to the people and enjoyed leisure time together. All these were done hand in hand by these fun loving and service-oriented individuals.

These Klement participants were so full of energy and positive attitude during the trip even when faced with trials and hardships.
And behind these forceful Klement in the field were the Klement "Middle East" chapter that served as the" back ups". These are the people who may never had come to join in the activity in the "Front line" but provided the participants with their monetary support which gave a strong backbone to the program. They are as well called the "Klement Sponsors" . These great guys are namely: Mr. Julius Malupangue, Ms. Quennie Garcia , Mr.Gypsy Saldivia, Mrs. Alessa Aligno and Ms.Gwen Labadan . And a special addition to the so called "Klement Sponsors" group is a girl from Marshall Islands and was also our Miss Nightingale when we were in college, Ms. Cheryl Derequito, which she did not only give financial support but joined the activity as well.
We are so grateful to you guys and will always be!!!!!

There might be some certain tasks in life that probably are hard, boring , tiresome and sometimes embarrassing, but let the Klement do it and it would appear as if it is an enjoyable job to do.
With a spirit of unity, the challenges that this group faced were won, combined with the great love for God within their hearts that's burning ever since.

All these things were done because the Klement wanted to give praises and honor to God!
